What's going on with my car!? ?

I have a 2004 dodge neon srt-4 and I just got it back cause it's been sitting at my friends house for about 6 months now because of some title issues. When I bought it, it was working just fine. But now when I start it up with a jump box the car can barely stay turned on and all of the gauges and the dash get all fuzzy, and if I go fast enough it just shuts itself off. But when I leave the portable jump box in the engine compartment hooked up to the car it runs fine. Please help
