Is my Seagate 500GB portable hard drive okay?

Hi there, I bought my Seagate 500GB portable hard drive a week ago, and just recently, I dropped it from my sofa set to my floor which is marble. It is still working fine and reads, copies, pastes, and transfer data fine. My question is, should i buy another hard disk and back up all the files in the dropped one onto the new one? I guess I am phobic of the fact that the dropper hard disk may look fine now but may fail one day.
