Are there any sandbox games for the DS?

Well, the only one I can come up with at the moment is GTA: Chinatown Wars. It's not like Minecraft obviously, but still sandbox. Also the Zelda games have free-roam elements I guess. But I don't know any game similar to Minecraft, when it comes to free-roaming sandbox games.
