Minecraft bedrock Help?

ive made a very deep water system for a cactus farm (in Minecraft), and I used MC edit to turn bedrock into stone in case i needed the extra space (witch i need more) and i was wondering if i could extend the map downwards so i can place blocks under the end of the map. if there is a mod or something with MC edit i could try to extend it down? Any help would be appreciated
